What is a "Handled Patient"?

A patient interaction is a unique patient - whether existing, new, or potential - who contacts the InDesk receptionist team or is contacted by the InDesk team within a calendar month.
Each patient is counted once per month, regardless of the number of interactions or communication channels used.
Unique individuals only
Each patient is counted once per calendar month, no matter how many times they contact us or we contact them. For example, if we assist a patient 10 times to book or reschedule their appointments within a calendar month, they are counted as one handled patient.
Includes potential patients
Inquiries about your treatments, services, prices or practitioners, even if they don’t lead to a booking, are included as handled patients.
Excludes irrelevant interactions
We do not count spam inquiries, sales pitches, or other irrelevant contacts (e.g., suppliers or vendors).

This model ensures fairness and transparency while reflecting the value we provide in managing patient interactions efficiently.
